Dairy Spares has introduced Golden Balm for cows, a minted cream providing soothing relief when massaged into the udders of freshly calved cows and mastitis cases.
The cost-effective, antibiotic-free formulation contains four natural plant extracts with recognised healing qualities – Japanese peppermint oil, calendula extract, eucalyptus oil and tea tree oil. These have anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties when massaged into the cow’s udder.
Golden Balm is an easily absorbed emulsion which leaves no sticky residue. Massaging Golden Balm into the affected quarter 2-3 times a day helps to stimulate blood circulation thereby aiding recovery. It can be used on both clinical and sub-clinical mastitis and will not leave residues in the milk.
