A simple and useful aid to heat detection in cattle.
Check-Mate is applied to the “rubbing point” just in front of the tail head along the spine and backwards from the position of the “hook bones”.
Apply with a stiff paint brush down to the skin level and then backwards to produce a smooth strip about 8″ long and 2″-3″ wide.
Allow to dry.
Once the cow has come on heat, the mark will be removed by the mounting activities of herd mates.
Available in pink, blue, green and yellow.
Apply to clean and dry (or slightly damp) animals.
Water soluble. Do not thin. Protect from frost.
