Starting with Milk Bar from day one gives calves a health boost and is easy to implement.
Day 1-3: Use a Milk Bar Training Teat (MBA01A) in either a bottle or single feeder.
Day 4-14: Use a Milk Bar Teat (MB10) in either a single feeder or group feeder. Calves can be in singles, pairs or groups.
Day 15+: Transition the small group to an automatic feeder fitted with Milk Bar Automatic Teats.
Replace teats when milk flow has increased or at around 600-700 litres.
Transfer young calves to the automatic feeder when the teat has been changed to a new teat.
