Dairy Spares has expanded its range of cattle brushes with the introduction of the new POGO rotating cattle brush in which the motor and gear box remain in a fixed position above the brush thereby reducing wear on cables and bearings.
When a cow rubs against the brush, a sensor activates the 0.25KW motor and gearbox to start the brush rotating; stopping automatically when no longer in use. One brush per 50 cows is recommended.
The polymer brush bristles are of a specific length and firmness to ensure optimum pressure to stimulate blood circulation while helping clean and groom the animal with a gentle massaging motion.
The POGO cattle brush:
- Removes parasites, old hair and promotes blood circulation
- Improves cow health, reduces stress and promotes welfare
- Low energy consumption
- Easy to install on wall or on a post
- Easy to maintain and keep clean
Cattle brushes like the POGO, that are rotating rather than fixed, are typically eligible for government grant schemes.
Farmers should contact their local Dairy Spares stockist or contact Dairy Spares for details of stockists.
