How to use the Trusti Pasteur Pro to pasteurise colostrum for calves, lambs and goat kids

This video illustrates how simple it is for farmers and youngtock rearers to pasteurise colostrum using the Trusti Pasteur Pro thanks to its clever design and range of automated programs.

This pasteurisation unit is designed for use with Trusti colostrum bags; it can either be manually filled with water, or attached to a mains water supply.

Colostrum can be heated for pasteurisation and then automatically cooled down for feeding to young animals, or cooled down further for storage in a refrigerator or freezer. The video also shows how heating time can be reduced using one of the programs which pre-warms the water.

The Trusti Pasteur Pro is the latest product in a range of calf/lamb feeding equipment developed by New Zealand company Antahi. In the UK, the full range is available to farmers through Dairy Spares’ network of agricultural merchants and dairy engineers.
